Fouling, Leaks, and Poor Performance in Your Heat Exchangers Are Not Inevitable. They Are Controllable. Master the Skills to Ensure Peak Reliability.

In Chevron’s complex process facilities, heat exchangers are the workhorses of energy efficiency and production. A fouled crude preheat train, a leaking condenser, or an underperforming reboiler directly impacts your bottom line and operational stability. To combat this, your team needs a deep, practical understanding of the entire heat exchanger lifecycle—from operation and control to advanced inspection and precision maintenance.

This intensive 5-day training program is designed to deliver that expertise. Fully aligned with Chevron’s internal standards and global best practices (API/TEMA), this course provides a comprehensive, hands-on education in heat exchanger reliability. You will move from theory to practice, learning to diagnose failures, execute critical maintenance tasks like retubing and tube rolling, and analyze performance data to make proactive decisions.

In This Course, You Will Master How To:

  • Diagnose the root causes of performance loss, including fouling, scaling, and corrosion.

  • Apply advanced inspection techniques, including visual, borescopic, and NDT methods (Eddy Current, UT).

  • Safely execute critical maintenance procedures, including chemical/mechanical cleaning and hydrostatic testing.

  • Perform precision tube removal and replacement, including torque-controlled tube rolling and expansion.

  • Analyze operational data from the DCS to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize cleaning cycles.

  • Adhere strictly to Chevron’s safety protocols, including LOTO and confined space entry.
